ASSEN

Assen is the capital of the province of Drenthe, Assen is a nice cozy city but at the same time the city is a bit small, it has about 67.000 inhabitants. Assen is a very green city, the city has a number of cozy terraces and you can enjoy shopping here.

COEVORDEN

Coevorden is a fortified city in the province of Drenthe, the city is the oldest city in Drenthe and therefore has a rich history. The star-shaped outer canal and the roads in the city center clearly show that Coevorden is a fortified city. When you discover the city, you notice that the city is committed to water, history and conviviality. This makes Coevorden very suitable for a tourist visit. The city is also called goose town, because of the goose market which is held every year on the second Monday of November.

EMMEN

Emmen is located in the south of the province of Drenthe, the city has just under 60.000 inhabitants. Emmen is a pleasant green city with an extensive shopping center and Wildlands zoo.

HIGH VENUE

Hoogeveen is a small town in Drenthe it is close to Meppel the city is nice to visit it is a nice shopping city and there is a cozy atmosphere the people are friendly the city is quiet. Hoogeveen is a city to take a look at, we do not recommend Hoogeveen for several days.

MEPPEL

Meppel is an atmospheric, cozy city in the south of the province of Drenthe. Meppel has beautiful canals, a number of cozy squares and many shops, so you can enjoy a day in this city. You can also visit nice museums.

With canals such as Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht and Heerengracht, Meppel is sometimes called "Mokum of the North".
