Heerlen is the 4th largest city in Limburg. The largest is Maastricht followed by Venlo and the 3rd city is Sittard

if you put this in a row then Heerlen is worth a visit

VALKENBURG

Valkenburg is a small but very cozy and very touristy fortified town. Valkenburg is located in the very south of the country, in the south of the province of Limburg. In Valkenburg you will find a different architectural style than you see in most cities in the Netherlands, many buildings are made of marl, yellow stones from the caves in the vicinity of the city. The city has a very historic feel and that is partly due to these marl buildings. You could hardly tell that Valkenburg is a fortified city, but these days the municipality has corrected it, you can read more about this under the heading Cultural heritage.

VENLO

Venlo is a pleasant city with a historic city center in Limburg, the city has many amenities, for example you can enjoy shopping and enjoy the many heritage that the city has. The city has more than 39, 100 inhabitants. Venlo is also easy to reach. We definitely recommend a visit to the city
