Zandvoort is a very popular seaside resort and Zandvoort is also a pleasant village. The village lives from tourism through the coast and is also well known for the racing circuit (Circuit Park Zandvoort).

Zandvoort is nice to visit once, especially in the summer. This seaside resort is located in the southwest of the province of North Holland.

Zandvoort has been around since the year 1100, the village was called Sandervoerne at the time.

Until 1722 this area was in the hands of the Heeren Brederode. The village has lived on fishing for centuries, Zandvoort was a real fishing village. It was not until the 19th century that other products appeared.

In the year 1828 the very first bathhouse was inaugurated, at that time all kinds of celebrities came. Such as among others Elisabeth of Austria-Hungary, this was the Empress of Austria and Queen of Hungary.
